Non-monetization pledge
GuardBack is and will remain free, open source, and non-commercial. No advertising. No paywall. No paid data access. Ever.
We are not a tipline
GuardBack is not law enforcement and does not accept abuse reports. We route you to official channels — NCMEC CyberTipline, local child protective services, and national hotlines.
To report child sexual exploitation online, use the official NCMEC CyberTipline.
Emergency
If a child is in immediate physical danger, call 911 (or your local emergency number) before using this site.
Evidence
Do not delete messages, images, or accounts before reporting unless a trained responder tells you to. Evidence helps investigators.
What we do not do
- Host, index, or distribute child sexual abuse material
- Maintain vigilante predator lists or crowd-sourced offender databases
- Accept abuse reports on this site — we only link to official channels
- Provide legal advice — consult an attorney for your situation
Open source
GuardBack is MIT licensed. Source code and content are public for transparency.
Sister project: TrackBack (congressional accountability — separate mission).
Content accuracy
Guides cite official platform documentation and recognized child safety organizations (NCMEC, Thorn, C3P). Each page lists a last-reviewed date. Platform policies change — verify critical settings on the official site.
